Abstract Fish guidance systems associated to water intakes represent an important feature, mandatory prevent fish from being accidentally drawn into artificial hydraulic facilities. Such are recommended for a proper integration of the intake surrounding environment and contribute reducing impact on environment. In this paper prototype system which can be applied river is presented analysed. The guided by means air bubbles curtain, influence flow water. This study was performed numerically in Fluent software experimentally laboratory conditions.
